She has a laid-back managerial and is looking for you to have the prior experience so you can support and be self-sufficient with the day to day.
She's also very supportive and will give you all the training and developing allowing you to grow in the role as they continue to expand.
You'll be responsible for the general ledger & cost accounting and help with all account reconciliations, support the financial statement preparation process, and support annual audit and tax requirements.
Being in manufacturing and a product-based organisation the role has lots of elements, with inventory costs, tracking variances with the P&L, it keeps it varied, high energy and complex.
They are also mid-way through an AP automation project revamping the AP process so this will move more to reviewing than processing which you will also take ownership of when you join.
