The Director of Operations Process Improvement will have responsibility for driving Papa Gino's and D'Angelo field operations' continuous improvement efforts by developing and deploying best practice tools, methods, and processes that reduce waste, promote data-driven decision making, and demand robust problem solving. This individual will report to the Executive Vice President of Operations with the scope of establishing a high-level of workforce capability; optimizing productivity, efficiency and effectiveness across all aspects of the restaurant operation. This will include; food quality and production, all aspects of guest service, speed of service, labor productivity and equipment efficiencies. Develops recommendations and presents summary findings to EVP of Operations and CEO.
_ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS_ _:_
1. Collect, analyze and interprets operating data to identify problems, root cause of issues, and areas for which procedural or system changes are required including staffing guidelines, food production processes and equipment specifications.
2. Develops project plans and documentation to support the implementation of operating initiatives.
3. Establishes strategies and develops programs for change initiatives, measures the results compared to goals and develops corrective actions.
4. Partners with Training and Operations to develop work aids, process descriptions, checklists, templates, and guidelines to assist personnel with implementing defined processes.
5. Collaborates with Executive Chef, Training and Finance to develop performance metrics, measurement processes and targets.
_REQUIREMENTS: _
The position requires 5-7 years of proven effective delivery of reengineering or process improvement.
Ability to lead process change, cross functional efforts and effectively influence at all levels a must.
Candidate must have exceptional analytical, communication, conceptual thinking, excellent problem-solving capabilities along with superior leadership skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects successfully with discipline to audit closed projects to ensure project results are maintained.
Ability to learn and apply statistical analysis to complex business problems.
Ability to create and maintain a high level of energy and sense of urgency to drive results.
Demonstrated proficiency using advanced office software applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Understanding of data modeling, with an emphasis on designing and preparing statistical charts, tables, and graphs.
Bachelor's degree in related field.
_PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:_
Ability to remain in a seated position for sustained periods of time.
Ability to use hands for reaching, handling papers, picking up the telephone, typing on a computer, etc.
Must be able to lift or carry 20 pounds.
Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility including bending and stooping for the duration of a workday

Demonstrated success in the application principles, methods, and techniques of degree-granting post-secondary institutions, and familiarity with current developments in education and training. Progressive and focused work experience in continuous improvement initiatives, project management, and organizational development.
