Poolside Restaurant Manager

The Poolside Restaurant at Dedham Country & Polo Club is a fully operation kitchen producing high quality and upscale "snack bar" style foods including grilled items, salads, sandwiches, and desserts.
The Poolside Restaurant also operates a full-service bar featuring specialty and seasonal cocktails and beers.
The responsibilities of the Manager will include all daily operations, training, scheduling, ordering, beverage and food safety, quality control, and dining area presentation and upkeep.
The Manager will also assist and help execute poolside events and barbeques, as well as, weekly dining "Specials" throughout the season.
The position will run from mid-May through mid-September and require a minimum of 40 hours per week.
After the season ends, there will be opportunities in both the main kitchen and dining rooms for continued employment.
The ideal candidate will be a graduate, or soon to graduate, of a Culinary Arts or Restaurant/Hospitality program.
The candidate will be dedicated and committed to the operation for the season and be a reliable and responsible leader.
The position is a great opportunity to gain exposure to the Private Club industry for an eager career minded Culinarian or aspiring Front of the House Manager.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
