Center Director


Join us as Center Director for a K-12 after-school supplemental mathematics program to open soon in the greater Boston market. The center's mission is to make math fun for kids while advancing their math skills, enabling students to improve math fluency and self-confidence.


We are seeking a self-motivated individual looking to make a difference in the lives of our students, while managing a growing business and participating in the center's financial success. Competitive cash compensation with performance-based bonus potential.


The ideal candidate demonstrates the following traits:

Passion for working with children, and a genuine interest in helping students learn;


Strong interpersonal skills, and a high degree of comfort interacting with parents.


Experience managing a consumer-driven business - such as a retail store or restaurant.


Ability to think on his/her feet, solve problems, and make decisions independently;


Attention to detail;


Key Responsibilities: Managing all center operations, including:


Growing student enrollment;


Hiring and supervising program instructors.


Ensuring exceptional instruction and attention to students' individual needs;


Scheduling student sessions and managing staffing levels appropriately;


Coordinating curriculum materials with corporate office;


Communicating with students/parents in the facility at the Center and via email/phone;


Generating brand awareness with local schools and community organizations;


Opening the facility, preparing for the day's sessions, and closing on business days;


Hours: afternoons/evenings Monday-Thursday and mid-day Sunday.

We are currently looking for entrepreneurial, goal-oriented managers to help us open several Mathnasium franchises in the Boston area.



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
